Oh I just remembered I wanted to tell you something about your Marilyn Monroe look! I was doing a girl's makeup for her sweet 16 photo shoot and she wanted a Marilyn Monroe inspired look. She brought me a bunch of pictures of Marilyn that she got online. I was looking at and discussing the pictures with her when I noticed one of them was you! I was like, "Hey! That's Kandee Johnson!" She was like, "What? No, that's Marilyn!" I had to show her your tutorial to convince her that it was not Marilyn, but it was you! She was shocked! That's how good of a job you did!!! :D

Maleficent is from Sleeping Beauty, not Snow White! :) She's my favorite. Thanks for doing a look on her...I am having a hard time deciding between her, Cruella or the Joker. I want to be a villan. >:)

Ok I have to tell you that Krylon I believe is the name of the paste I use to cover my eyebrows... I use Spirit gum and I use a spatula to smooth them out with the spirit gum on them... then I use Krylon puddy stick to go over the spirit gum and I get more of the glue look but after you powder well conceal then powder it is PERFECTION you also want to get TV Spirit Gum because it doesn't have the shine. Check my blog out I will eventually have some videos of make-up and stuff on mine too ... but check me out...www.imaguetenbed.com and see what all I do... I cook, I do interviews like my newest with Margaret Cho I cannot wait for her to get here so I can actually meet her .. but anyway get hold of me and we will chat... I might have some helpful insight for you and you might be able to help me too...

LOVE YOU

Remember to make your bed every morning, because you never know who might stop by that night. lol... my motto

Hello Kandee,
I love all your videos especially the costume ones. I was wondering if you would do a Victorian ghost. I bought a costume for that & would very much like your help. It would be great if you could do it on your mom (I think I am the about the same age). It is a silvery white dress with a Marie Antoinette style wig also silvery white. Has a silver hooded cape. If you do it, make her prettyish. I'm sure your mom will love it! Love u Kandee <3

Came across your site as I was searching for edward scissorhands makeup videos. I'm so impressed with all of your make tutorials. You have quite a talent. Love your personality on the videos by the way!

Any chance you could list your recommendations for the Ed Scissorhands makeup? I notice you used MAC products. What scar puddy stuff would you recommend given that you didn't like the one from the halloween store you used in the video.

Thanks!!!

Love your videos and it is amazing how you are able to transform yourself into all the characters!

Could you post the make up you used for the Edward Scissorhands look? I noticed you used MAC products. Does the primer have to be tinted or would sheer be fine? What scar puddy would you recommend given that you didn't like the one you used in the video from the Halloween store?

Kandee, I have a question which has been on my mind for a long time... Do you and your little ones celebrate Halloween? I know your sister is strongly against it, and you never blog about your family celebrating it, but you have the most amazing costume videos on YouTube, and you always blog about them towards the end of October. I'm sorry if you find my question inappropriate but I've been your fan for a long time now and I feel like I know you so well that it feels strange not knowing your thoughts on Halloween...

Kandee! I have been following you for years now and it is because of you that I decided to start my very own Youtube channel. I am writing this comment to you not only to thank you but to say that you are my idol! What you do every day is art and in my opinion my favorite form of it. I know what it feels like to transform yourself Into something different everyday and It is fun to watch the stares and glances of those who try to interpret the makeup look you have on that day. A face of makeup can say so much about you. It is a form of style a form of showing your personality differently each and every day. So thank you for showing me that art is not just a form of slapping a paint brush on a canvas but a blending brush on the creases of our eyes, a buffing brush to create a perfect base and a small detailed brush to find the natural contours of our faces. It is a soft glam on a “natural” day and a ‘beat” face with neon green eyeshaow on a confident day. It is because of you that I found my love for makeup after such a tragic time in my life.
Again, Thank you Kandee

Hi kandee,

About the eyebrow concealing in queen of hearts:

1. I can't find the concealer wheel on naimie's. I tried searching for wheels and none of them match. Can you write down what to search for?
2. Is the concealer perfume and fragrance free?
3. How to you keep the gluestick spakkeled eyebrow from peeling? A few hours of moving my face muscles left my snazoo makeup very odd looking around the eyebrow-when I looked closer the glue was peeling.
