she he has taught me more things about love, art, creating, being merciful and graceful. She is one of the sweetest, kindest, most encouraging, forgiving person in the world!

She is my best friend. (well, and my sister!)...

I don't know what I would do without her. GOd gave me the perfect mom for me!

I know, some of you probably already have seen this. But this is one of my favorite videos, because it's with my mom...and everyone that knows me said, "in this video, your mom brings out the most "kandee-ness" part of you"!

I was in the MAC store today, buying my sister a birthday-beauty present! And the adorable salesgirl, had the most awesome lip color on! I asked "WHAT ARE you WEARING? I love it!!!!!"....
lo and behold!!!

Let me tell you, I scrounged up my little, pennies, and ran right back across the way to Sephora to get my hands on a tube!!!

I saw IRON MAN 2!

 

what better to do on a friday night than go to the movies!!!

my mom snapped a photo of me in the theater...on our way to see IRON MAN 2!

Sometimes there is nothing better than to escape from all your troubles, and let your mind take in a movie! (boy did I need a mind-escape today! ha ha ha)

MY SISKEL & EBERT review:
I really liked this movie! At first when my mom and son, Jordan, said we should see Iron Man 2, I thought, "oh, I don't know....I didn't even see the first one". (and I normally don't really like crazy action movies) But this was a really good movie! IT was funny, super interesting, the cast, (Robert Downey Jr., was awesome, I love Gwyneth Paltrow, Scarlet Johansson was super tough, Don Cheadle was great, and Mickey Rourke was a good Russian, bad guy!)
So, go get your Iron on...I give it 2 Iron thumbs up!!!

 

There was a huge line to go see Iron Man 2, it went all the way down the hallway, just to get in!

Oh great, and I'm gonna get one of my crutches knocked down...ha ha ha

Just as we were starting to worry...and usher came and asked, "are you going in?", to me with my crutches...."YES!", I say...and he stops the line and lets us go in first! OMG! I was so excited! We got to sit in the row with no one in front, so I could put my leg up!

SNACK BAR treats:
2 coca-cola icee's (for Jordan and Bobby)
1 XXX Vitamin Water (for my mom)
1 bottle of water and Junior Mints for me
TOTAL for treats: $20.25 ( in know! crazy!)

It was a fun friday night date....my mom made me laugh, the movie made me laugh, Bobby held my hand and my Jordan filled me in on what happened in the first Iron Man! ha ha ha

and me and my mom saw that they play classic movies on mondays for $2!!! Talk about cinema therapy....Singing in the Rain, makes me so happy!

okey dokey....since i've been getting a huge amount of peeps askin' me where I got my sunglasses, i thought I'd just do a blog post about these!

This was hot of the presses, for my "gangster" Christmas cards from a couple years ago!

And I'm not makin' fun, my Nana was born in East LA, and my great -great grandma was born in Chihuahua Mexico. I can make a mean plate of Enchiladas and homemade tortillas....(they may not all be perfect circles...ha ha ha)...

I have the most awesome CHOLA make-up look video I did last year, that I never edited...but when you see it...well, I'll just say it's going to be pretty awesome! It's got a lowrider bike, a real cholo in it, and I've got the most amazing eyebrows you've ever seen!!! ha ha ha

I love that the world is made up of different people, different colors, different recipes (ha ha ha)...my ethnicity is a bunch of things:

Mexican, Swedish, Danish, Irish, Native American, Spanish, English...and I'm sure some random other fun ones!

I love custom mixtures....whether it's make-up or nationalities! ha ha ha

my ankle got so swollen, it looked like a tree trunk, so i called my "TREE TRUNKLE"....ha ha ha

 and HAPPY NORMAL SIZE ANKLE DAY!!!
