Dreamer 101

This was taken out of window of a plane...
there is something so amazing about seeing the clouds moving above another layer of clouds, above another layer of clouds, beneath you...it's like being in the most incredible 3-D movie...I sat watching the sun slip behind the clouds for at least 15 minutes...

So essentially I could say, my head was "in the clouds"...
and sometimes that is was makes dreamers, dreamers....
their heads...are somewhere else....they need to be, in order to be dreamers.....

As long as your head is in the clouds, and your feet are on the ground...your dreams from the heavens, can land at your feet on the ground!


Dreaming is essential...day-dreaming, staring out the window , soaking up inspiration...all these things are essential to dreamers....this is the life-blood of your existence! Dreaming is as needed to creative dreamers, as it is for a runner to go on their daily run! It IS who you are....it is what makes you dream bigger, it is like working out your muscles...you are growing your dream muscles!

I was told that all my dreams were pipe dreams, that my head was in the clouds, that I should get a "real" job. If I had listened to any of those people, and stopped dreaming, stopped going after my dreams....they would be nothing more than just dreams. BUT, I would keep thinking about my dreams, how would I make them real, what do I need to do next...
dream and think....think and dream....that's what makes dreams come true....!

DREAM MISSION FOR THE DAY:
*sit and daydream (at Starbucks, out your window, in the park, sitting in your car...while not while driving! ha ha ha)...think about your dreams, your dream life, your dream day....

*think about ways that you can make the first step to your dream, come true... do you need to research on-line, do you need to sign up for a class, do you need to buy some essential tools or things to get started, do you need to research moving to a new location, do you need to talk to someone about it?

*tell yourself ,"I can do it!"...."I believe I can do it!"...no one with their harsh words, is going to stop me...
Let no words from man, stop what God put in your heart!

Today is a new day, to start watering a new dream, in your dream garden!

Oh no! I 've ruined everything!

 

(these unbelievable paintings are done in chalk, and painted on the sidewalks in Pasadena, California)

When I walked by these amazing paintings in Pasadena, outside the International Make-Up Artist Show...I was blown away!
Here are these artists, creating these amazing works...and they are just going to be washed off some hours later!
I couldn't believe how realistic, detailed, and just beautiful they were...the one of The Beatles, was so incredibly realistic, it was like looking at a photograph! I am still amazed when I look at the picture, you wanted to reach out and touch the strands of hair..it was amazing!
And all this time and effort was poured into these drawings...and the artist knew...they were putting all this hard work into something that would just be ruined...by  being washed away!

I was thinking, sometimes we have done things that make us think we've ruined everything....that we've ruined more than just a beautiful painting on the sidewalk....that we've ruined:
our lives
our relationships
our dreams
even our hopes of our dreams...
that we've just plain ol' ruined everythang!


Well, just like the artist that has painted something on a walkway, that will get washed off....they know that they will just paint another, even more amazing picture!
If you feel like you've messed things up so bad, that you've changed your whole "destiny", that you've ruined things beyond repair....that you've royally screwed things up...well here's hope for ya!

You're clean sidewalk is waiting to be drawn on...
each day, we have a new chance, with new hope, a new day to do new things to accomplish our dreams, a new chance to live the life we want, to find that love in our life, to let the love pour out of our hearts.

You have never gone so far off track, that God can't put you back on! Our dreams are still there waiting for us to straighten ourselves out and go after them!

MISSION OF THE DAY:

*tell yourself: "no matter how far I think I've messed things up,  I know God will get me back on my "dream track"

*Make yourself, no matter how uncomfortable you feel, tell someone you care about how much they mean to you..examples: "I just want you to know you mean the world to me", "I just wanted you to know how much I love you", "you are a sparkly diamond in my life"....

*do something today, that when you lay in bed tonight, you'll be proud that you did...
examples: give someone a compliment, help someone (help an older person carry bags, hold the door open for a mom struggling with a stroller, offer a friend in need a hug, a listening ear, or help them with whatever they need), be brave and call about enrolling in school for what you want to become, get business cards designed, ask that person out that you've been dying to talk to, wear that outfit that you love, but are afraid of getting made fun of, say that funny thing that you're scared to say because you think people will make fun of you...and lastly....dance to the radio...sing out loud...
live from your heart...!

You've never ruined anything....you've just detoured your path!

A Little Layla in Heaven

This is a little angel...
who God missed, and wanted back in Heaven today...

Layla Grace is a precious soul..that God loaned to the world for 2 years...
Her incredible parents said that she has touched more lives in her 2 years, with her strength!
She was brave and went a through a lot...click here to read more about her story


I will be praying for her family and her two sisters...for their hearts....and that they may rejoice in the knowing that their little angel is feeling wonderful in Heaven right now...and that she will be dancing and smiling in Heaven until they get there and see her again!

Even though our lives may feel like we have huge problems and that things are sad...maybe little Layla Grace can effect the world and teach people that they should think about things that are good.
life is short....
what are you spending your time and energy on?

Little Layla's parents wrote this scripture on their website, and I have loved this one for years...it even spoke to my heart today....I hope it touches yours too...

2 Corninthians 4:7-12, 16-18

But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that his life may be revealed in our mortal body. So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you.

Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. NY state of mind!

I have been invited by Sun Labs, the makers of the SUN self-tanner that I used in a video a while back. They were so excited about the video, that they invited me to New York to go to the International Beauty Show in New York, on Sunday, March 7th at the Jacob Javits Convention Center.

I am so excited! I will get to visit with people at their booth at the IBS show! If you are in the NY area, please come by and say hi!!! I am so excited, I really love NY, and I can't wait to soak up some more New York dazzle!

I am packing treasures....my video camera to document everything...to take you guys along with me!!!!

I still don't know what I am going to wear or where all my make-up is...ha ha ha...and I always have that feeling that I am forgetting something!

If your hear feels low, your smiles seem a little more slow to show up....and perhaps your mind feel more like sleeping, than being awake...
I pray that you think about the balloons....may your heart be lifted higher than helium lift balloons....
and may each one of your tears....be bringing our the brightest rainbow in your soul...


sometimes we feel hopeless....lost, alone...scared, tired, frustrated.....heartbroken....
I know how awful each of these are...
And I want you to rejoice, right now....that:

A. you are alive...ready to start really living

B. you are wonderful..and no matter what anyone says, you have a beautiful future waiting, and don't let anyone have the power to slow you down, or stop your great thinking

C. the love of you life is out there, and they wouldn't ever do anything to hurt you, so if you are being hurt, this isn't someone that truly treasures you heart


D. hope is there in your heart, your amazing greatness is in their too...don't keep it locked up! Set it free for the world to see!

You are precious, you can be powerful...your words can touch someone's heart today! I had someone smile at me today and gently say some kind words of encouragement...and I can't tell you what that meant to me and my heart!

I feel so honored to be able to have each one of you, read my words, and that they inspire you, is the greatest gift to me! Somebody once said, after I wrote a little note to them on the internet, "The whole Johnson family, is the most encouraging group of people"....I am so happy I get to encourage or at least write a little something to take with you in your day....a little "daily kandee" of a different kind! ha ha ha

DAILY LOVE MISSION:
1.tell someone, especially a stranger, something kind- examples:
"have a great day", "you are so beautiful", "I hope you have the most wonderful day today!". "you have a great smile"...you get the idea.

2.  write a little list, or just think about it, and write about all the great "treasures" you have locked up in your heart...what are your dreams and desires for this precious life of yours.

This is your life....how are you going to live it!?!

As you lift the spirits of others...you will notice your own heart is going to start floating like those fun colored balloons in the picture!

May I be the first to tell you today: "you are precious! you are adored! you are brilliant! you thoughts and ideas are so precious and simpley cherished! Be that amazing you that is just waiting to get a little boost from you to come dazzle the world!

is your heart in chains?
did you let someone chain it up?
did you chain it up yourself?

hearts were meant to be free and love freely....
but sometime something or someone makes it so we feel we have to chain up our precious hearts!

I want you to know we were designed to love, that's one of the most important things that this world lacks.....
I read things people write, on facebook, myspace, comments, and the list could go on and on...pretty much anywhere and everywhere...just listen to people talk...anywhere....people's status comments are mostly...angry, rude, negative...."my job sucks"...."i hate________", "______is so dumb"......

this could even be your friends or family, someone and work or school...or a loved one....a boyfriend, girlfriend.....

people are so empty of love,  most people just have no love to spread.... complaining, rude, mean, put-down, type comments...

If someone is pouring out negative, discouraging, hurtful words your way....
let it roll off you like "water-repellent" fabric.....it just beads up and rolls off!

No one said you have to listen, believe, or even tolerate they bad things that people say!

Know that you are loved, you are wonderful, God thinks you are the most precious thing in the world! And I do too! The letters that you guys send to me....I read, and tears roll down my face, taking in the love that you guys pour out...I hope, and I feel it is my responsibility, to type my blog, to be here for you like a friend....I love you all! I truly do! And I am so honored to be a part of your life, inspiring you, and being the friend, big sister, and hopefully someone who gets to add some love to your heart!

Someone is going to think the sun rises and sets in your heart....that you are the best thing they've ever seen, talked to, and experienced in their life!

You will have friends that will be there for you even when things are bad, not fun, and sad. (like my precious friend Amy, I can't thank her enough for how much she helped me yesterday! I love you Ames!!!!)

Free your hearts today! We really are the ones that hold the key!!!

I like my brown eyes... (even though I used to want green or blue so bad) (God thinks that brown eyes were perfect for me....and he makes things amazing! The colors of sunsets and rainbows!)
I like that I laugh a lot
I like that I dance in my room with music on

*Now spread some love...let's' work on  only saying loving, encouraging, kind things today...
*Post something positive and kind on your facebook/myspace/twitter
*Try hard, all day to say only positive things....(it might be hard if you're not used to it....but soon it's like a game...the KINDNESS game! hee hee hee)

I love you all....you're precious, you have great style, because it's yours.....your voice is perfect, you eyes are beautiful....that's how people see you're precious soul...everything you have to say deserves to be hears....especially by loving listening ears....
