Kandee goes to the Carnival: Outfit Of The Day

Ready to hit the carnival, get talked into riding a ride, taste some funnel cake, and eat mor junk food.
This is how I tried to look cute and stay cool all at the same time.

HAIR:
My good ol, pin-up bandana style hair (and if you missed my video on how I tie my hair in bandanas to wayswatch THIS)

SUNGLASSES: I am semi-obsessed with these sunglasses- a little sunny-side chain action, is awesome. They are the CHAINLINK SUNGLASSES from JUICY COUTURE.

MY LIPCOLOR: I am also semi-addicted, as in, I've worn this the last 3 days straight, the Red Velvet Lip Color from Limecrime's Velvetines collection.

WHAT ELSE I HAD ON:

MY CLOSET STAPLE: Men's white Hanes Tank Top
SHIRT: A Hang Loose top I got from a tourist shop when we went to Maui, that I customized with a pair of scissors, you know me and T-shirt Cutting here, here or here.

CAMO PANTS: I got these forever ago, from some vintage clothing store or thrift shop, I can't remember.

RED SHOES: My fav, when I have to walk around a lot, my classic slip-on Vans. I don't know where to find these red on red rubber ones anymore though! If anyone knows post below!

And of course I have some non matching earrings, which is funny that I just saw in Nordstrom they sell a whole rack of mismatched earrings now! I have on a silver hoop, and a silver cross I got at Claire's!

BEAUTY FIELD TRIP: Inside the Make-Up Trailer of Pretty Little Liars and Their Key Make-Up Goodies

I thought it would be so fun to show you guys inside a make-up trailer. I remember the first set I worked on and seeing inside a make-up trailer for the first time I love it!

So today, I asked Cindy Miguens, the heaqd make-up artist for Pretty Little Liars to show us in her trailer and the key products she uses for each character to create their signature make-up looks. So come along as we go o a beauty filed trip to see inside the PLL make-up trailer and I'll list all the products she shows below too, and a Pretty Little Liars tutorial that I was inspired to do after I saw Cindy show me all her goodies (I'll put the link below, since it will be featured on the Disney Style channel):

Outfit of The Day: What My Sister Wears

I love my sister and even though we dress differently, I love her style and thought it'd be fun to show you what she wears!

 I think my sister has great style. She always looks classic and chic to me. And no she didn't even get any crazy stains for food all over her white jeans- although this was earlier in the day! ha ha ha
She spends her days chasing after her 2 girls, and manages to still look cute and comfy!

Throwback Thursday: Back In Black

I took this picture which is in my sister's hallyway....and I thought it was funny to see me "back in my black hair".....

A Day in My Shoes:

Oh, my shoes are old, AKA vintage, AKA they aren't sold anymore, except they should be because everyone asks where I got them, from Jeffrey Campbell's.

After the elevator ride, I some Sprinkle's Cupcakes, which I will show you more of in my kandeeland blog today. I ate 2 cupcakes on the drive home in traffic. Yes, they were red velvet. And yes there are red crumbs all in the car. It was worth it.

This is my beautiful sister, before we tried to film a video on how i did her hair, but I had no memeory cards to film on: FAIL! But I did do her hair, and I'll show you how it came out later!

 And this is all my BLING BLANG- the gold collection. Some Topshop, some Marshall's, some Claire's....but allllll goooooooooold.

A Colorful and Awesome Weekend and Generation Beauty:

This weekend I was blessed to get to meet so many of you guys, hug you, hear your stories, and hopefully I got to encourage you guys when I spoke about how to shine and share one of my favorite quotes:

I got see see some of my youtube friends, make-up artist friends, make new friends and hugs hundreds of precious hearts! It is beyond words to describe how much it means to get to meet everyone of you guys that watches my videos and gets my "computer hugs", to finally hug you in person! I'm humbled, honored, and I can't even tell you what it means to be a part of your day, lives, or heart. I cried, hugged and laughed with everyone and meeting all of you that came was the best part.

I got finally meet, Bethany of MacBarbie07, and get to hang out with the hilarious, Jessica Harlow.

And I got to meet the make-up artist, responsible for the famous, "J-Lo Glow" and just nicey-pants, Scott Barnes.

And I also got to finally meet, the adorable Ingrid of MissGlamorazzi. She is sweet as pie, and just cutey, cute, cute!

With the beautiful, "why can't my legs look like hers", Nicole Guerriero! She is awesome and I'm so glad I got to hang out with her!

Between getting to hug and meet all the amazing "kandee family" that showed up to come let me hug them, I got to sneak in a SHAVE ICE with cream: you know I got coconut and cotton candy with the cream!!!!

I didn't get a chance or have someone to take pictures with my phone of all the incredible people I got to meet, hug, and that just filled my heart with so much love....and of them were the reason why I was there! To get to hug you, and hear your stories...I stayed until after the even ended on Saturday to get to meet everyone, and meet everyone that didn't make it in the line to meet me earlier! We played at the photobooth and I just cherished everyone of you!

How amazing was this beauty's hair! I wish my hair would grow out of my head this, Ariel-ish color!

And again, my hair felt very boring next to some of my colorful friends, Mynxxi White and Doe Deere from LimeCrime, and the famous, Jeffrey Star.

 And after, my gorgeous friend, and incredible make-up artist, Priscilla Ono took me to dinner to Bottega Louie (which is known for their macarons).... and I love her hair and I love her- she's like an honorary sister!

 

And I she got me back hooked on VINE, and we filmed VINE's all dinner, laughed, and I just love her to pieces!

What Happens At A Photo Shoot.....

Yesterday I had the most fun day with these 2 girls....I love them:

We were filming a commercial for Smashbox Cosmetics at the famed, Smashbox Studios, where everyone from Madonna to Rihanna to J-Lo has been photographed, along with these fab 5...hee hee hee:

I'm still laughing when I just think about all the hilarious stuff that P'Trique was saying all day!
