View from my window...

if you were standing next to me...this is what you'd see from my bedroom window....
my happy, cheerful, golden yellow dining chairs...
that have been patiently waiting to have their cushions re-upholstered in hot pink patent leather....
they were my artsy project right before baby came...
I'm not sure when I'll have time to put the cushions on...or re-upholster them now! ha ha ha

On my huge list of favorite colors....this buttery yellow is ranked pretty high...matches my yellow rose ring that my sister got me at Nordstrom's Brass Plumb department...a while ago....I've only seen one other flower ring that was like it, on a girl walking down the street in SOHO...I actually stopped her! ha ha ha

But somehow looking out my window at their bright and cheeriness...made me smile....
I love that you can see Blakey's tractors in matching yellow-goldy-ness in the background...he worked on tractors....and I worked on painting the chairs! (I even think I had filmed it to do a Do-It-Yourself video..how to make thrift store chairs look AWESOME!) ha ha ha

hope my "shared" view brings some happiness and cheer to your day too!

yellow chairs...kandee

and hopefully a video on how to re-upholster your chairs in glossy hot hot pink material! yay!

How fun! Hot pink will add such a fun pop of color. I hope you find some time to finish them soon!

By the way, the view from your bedroom is beautiful! They look similar to the mountains here in Montana. I'd feel right at home if I were there visiting. :)

Kandee this is so cool! Please check out this rad little boutique where I work called Circa Vintage. It's in Tequesta, Florida and we have all kinds of cool vintage and designer finds. From Chanel all the way to vintage metal lunchboxes and more vintage hats and gloves than you've ever seen in one place!

I am a huge fan Kandee, and I thought I'd tell you about our store in case you ever wanted to check us out. Here is our youtube commercial:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TsLJE8U3_2w

Our store is very clean and we don't take anything in unless it's been properly dry cleaned first. All our designer items are authentic.

If you are looking for anything special, please contact us and we'll find it, we love the hunt! Also, we can ship anything to you in California.

I am a huge fan and thought I pass this on to you and maybe, if you love us (as I'm sure you will), maybe you'll help us spread the word :)

Thanks, and God Bless you and your family!

Dear Kandee,
I know right now, you pretty much just want to enjoy your baby, so I'm not asking for an immediate response of any sort, but do you think, that one day, maybe while baby's napping or visiting family, you could do a video on tried and true beauty tools (like flat-irons, curlers, blow dryers...) you've used over the years besides the ones you use now? Thanks so much, and congrats on your cupcake :)
