10 Things You Need To Know About This Picture:

It's time for another week of Throwback Thursday action....and 8 years ago this week, I looked tike this at my beautiful sister, Tiffany's wedding, and here's 10 things you need to know about the picture above:

1. Yes, 8 years ago, my hair was blonde.

2. And it was blonde again, a few years before that. ha ha ha

3. I used to think it was really fun/funny/stylish to wear Boy Scouts Shirts.

4. I still have this shirt in my closet.

5. My hair was way longer than it is now, and it felt like hay that you feed a horse.

6. This was at my sister's house in Santa Barbara.

7. She was getting married to the man equivalent of me, me and her hubby look nothing alike, but we always pick out the same meals at restaurants, have the same opinion on stuff, that why she love him, because I'm her BFF, and he can be her man BFF. ha ha ha
 8. One time we all went to get ice cream, and everyone stayed in the car except me and my brother-in-law went in to get it, and I overheard some people who recognized me from youtube, saying, "Oh that must be her boyfriend"! ha ha ha It was just my brother in law!

9. We were so busy getting my sister ready, me and her "other non-me" best friend, forgot to grab her veil and put it in the limo to go to the church. We didn't realize until we saw her walking down the aisle that we forgot it!

10.  I did my sisters make-up for her wedding, but I did not do her hair. I don't even remember if she liked how her hair came out! ha ha h

Happy Anniversary sister! I love you and your hubby, you guys are proof an amazing couples that are perfect for each other! And if you ever have another baby, me and Byron will put on another dance show for you while you're in labor! ha ha ha ha ha I'm so glad no one was filming any videos ! ha ha ha

PS. If you want to come spend the fun hours of learning:  make-up tips, being a make-up artist, and anything you want to ask me, you can still get tickets to my class, or you can even buy tickets at the door (but get there early to get a good seat)!

Mama's Got A New Short Haircut and Color

This is my beautiful mama, Shannon Johnson, waiting to get her hair did. This is her "long bob haircut", that is very blonde....
And a few hours later.....
She was rocking a new short hairstyle. A cute short, asymmetrical bob, that was a dark honey blonde.

Here is her before and after, in a fancily edited photoshop image:

If you want to describe this haircut to your hairstylist you can:
#1. Screengrab or print this picture out.
#2. Say you want a short, asymmetrical bob hair cut, with the ends and sides texturized (so it comes to those cute sweeping, or curved in, asymmetrical points in the front that are lower than the hair in the back)

And here is the all the transformations of my mom's hair, from our natural dark hair until now...
Which one is your fav? And just a little hint/surprise: there will be a video very soon, about "change is in the hair" of a certain, yours truly!!!

Come and watch when my mom first when blonde from almost black hair, for the very first time she ever experienced the fun of being a blonde:

PS. Don't forget, there's still time to get a ticket for my make-up class at IMATS this FRIDAY, January 17th. You don't need an IMATS ticket or a pro card, just a ticket to my class, CLICK HERE.

Late Breaking Beauty News:
Look at all the fun new products that Urban Decay, just launched today!

NAKED ULTRA NOURISHING LIPGLOSS:
9 neutral shades that Urban Decay is saying will make even make lipgloss lovers out of lipgloss loathers.

Just like NAKED eyeshadows, even the most subtle change in color makes a big difference!
My personal fav is LOVECHILD!! You know I love me some cool, nude pinkness!

WHAT'S SO SPECIAL ABOUT IT:
Hyaluronic Filling Spheres with vitamin E, avocado oil, shea butter to hydrate and condition. Rosehip seed oil for an extra punch of antioxidants, including A and C.
It's supposed to be a mix of luxe gloss and rich balm to moisturize, fill in the lips and be beautiful!
$20 and you can have a new gloss from, Sephora, Ulta, select Macy's and of course urbandecay.com

NAKED SKIN BEAUTY BALM...
2 new shades!!!

What it's got:
Pepha-Protection (from watermelons!) rich in amino acids like Citrulline that help guard the skin. Vitasource and dGlyage firm skin, improve elasticity and all kinds of anti-aging benefits. Plus sunscreen and stuff to blur lines and flaws and even out skin color.
For $34, this can be yours too!

Urban Decay Naked Skin Ultra Definition Loose Finishing Powder
5 Shades:
*Naked Light
*Naked Medium Light
*Naked Medium
*Naked Medium Dark
*Naked Dark (I still think they need a few more really dark shades)

I like their pressed powder, so I can't wait to try this stuff out too!

What's so great:
micobeads of hydration that "burst" when you apply the powder to the skin, causing it to glide on weightlessly. Jet-milled, so incredibly fine.
FREE OF OIL, PARABENS, ALCOHOL AND FRAGRANCES! Hooray!!!!

The only testing of this stuff I did was to slap that lipgloss on, wipe it off and apply the next color for the picture above! ha ha ha

No Make-Up Monday & Shoe Giveaway

Awww, yes this is gonna be a no makeup Monday because:
#1. I still feel like poop from my lovely cold/flu whatever this is.
#2. I have no clue why, but the left side of my lip has decided to add to my "sick beauty", and swell up bigger and bigger, by the second. Cute-ness all around today.

Last night I still felt like this, but had to put makeup on so I didn't look sick for a google hangout...check out the mind-blowing (ha ha ha) difference:
What a difference make-up makes.....

And now to put some fun into your Monday.....
I picked up my very first box of ShoeDazzle shoes on my porch and will show ya' what I got and I'm gonna give away a $60 shoe credit, to 2 winners, that need or want some new shoes!

Here's what was inside:
Not like I wear heels everyday at all, but I did need some for an event this weekend, so.....
Theses babies were inside.
 And I like ShoeDazzle because:
1. Rachel Zoe leads their style team, I love her.
2. Shoes start at only $39.95 baby! Louboutin style without the Loubie-high price.
3. They feature their label and designer shoe brands too.
4. First time purchases are 25% off and free shipping!

Now so you guys can have the excitement of a box of shoes showing up at your door. All you have to do is:
1. Go to ShoeDazzle (CLICK HERE) and you have to sign up (but don't worry, you don't pay or anything, you just have to do it to see all the shoes)
2. Pick out the shoes you'd want to win. (I think their shoe sizes run a bit bigger)
3. Comment below the shoes you picked out and the TWO winners will be announced the end of this week!

This is the part where anyone who doesn't live in the US or Canada will think this isn't as fun, they only ship to those 2 places, sorry guys that live anywhere else, I love you and your precious international feet too!

Huge hugs and if anyone else feels yucky like me, I'm sending you extra get well hugs and "flower and mugs of tea" thoughts, your Kandee

And if you where this to a Disneyland or any of the Disney Parks, people will ask you where you got this all day long! And you can proudly say I made it myself!

Now let's get this cute-ness going...

WHAT YOU NEED:
Black Beanie (I got a kids and an adult one at Walmart for $1.50 each!)

Red and White (or just red) Polka Dot Ribbon (I got this Offray ribbon at Michael's Craft)
Light colored crayon
A cup or Glass

Another Thursday, another time to dig through boxes of pictures remember, back when people actually printed out pictures! ha ha ha
HERE'S 10 THINGS I THINK YOU MIGHT NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THIS PICTURE:

3. Yes, I did those 2 strips of highlights myself. Ha ha ha ha

4. My hair was super long. As in down to my waist long.

5. People used to call me Pocahontas.

 8. I had a job in the mall, I worked in a clothing store called, Contempo Casuals. It was like Forever 21, before there was a Forever 21. I basically just worked to pay for gas in my car and to buy my clothes.
