Foxy Monday

just be warned that sometimes...the people you see in front of you, on your tv screens....may not have been born that way! I've worked with many make-up artists that have told me, hidden scar stories of some of your favorite stars...from work they had done and the weird ways they've hidden scars!

Megan Fox is a flaming, hot request! So here it is... and yes, it may seem like a lot of make-up, to look "naturally" beautiful...but that's how it goes sometimes.
I would like to shed some "unlfattering" light on the truth of celebrity beauty...
Most celebs have make-up artists that make them look amazing...they wear fake lashes and no one can tell, they can afford fancy "procedures" to look even more flawless...and don't get me started on the photoshop magic done in pictures!

I have so many things I think are wrong with my face....I could write a huge list. And everytime I look at my face, I see all that stuff. But I know, a smile is a smile, no matter what it looks like, it touches peoples hearts.

My teeth went through my lip when I was little, leaving a scar tissue souvenir for me! I have never liked my nose....or my freckles, or my teeth (I was told in an angry little sister fight, that they look like the ends of bones...and it stuck in my head)...and the list goes on....

so here's the videos...you don't need to do all the steps, but I'm just showing them all, as a good teacher would....

I think Megan Fox is beautiful, she looks very old-hollywood-starlet actress, to me...I love all her looks...and I'll be doing more of her looks too!

And remember, Greta Garbo, traveled with her own special light that made her look young and flawless! If only I could find that light! ha ha ha ha

Thanks so much for the great tutorial, Kandee, and for your honesty. It's lovely.

The false lashes definitely made the look perfect.

I wish the facade would stop, sometimes - the Hollywood madness. I love playing with make-up as I would love painting or sculpting, and I don't see it as a way to fix myself, because we are all the way we were supposed to be. I wish the media would stop trying to make us believe that you can look like those women without surgery, expensive treatments, specialists, tricks and photoshop. I wish they would even just stop photoshopping. It would make a world of difference.

Hey Kandee, I noticed that you know a lot of tricks and techniques that the old Hollywood stars would use (such as the Marylin Monroe eyeliner shape). I was wondering if you would share more of those with us. I just think it is so interesting. Thank you!

You're beautiful, don't let anyone get you down!

Kandee you are way beautiful! The first time I watched your videos I thought you were about 19!You're face looks totally symmetrical and you're so teeny tiny.

Learning from you and taking your advice from your videos means I've started to look a little like you! I wonder if there are any little kandee-ites out there copying your look too ha ha.I bet there's heaps!

thank you for doing a megan fox look and I have freckles
Too and I hate them but everybody wants what they don't have and doesn't want what they have. But eveybody says I probably Wouldn't look as pretty without them but freckles and smiles are a winning combo :)

I think you're totally amazing for posting tutorials on makeup. I remember looking through Kevin Aucoin and Bobbie Brown's books to learn about makeup, but it always left me totally clueless! There wasn't any way I was ever going to be able to recreate those looks. I am a visual learner, and I need to see it first and then do it. I think these looks you are teaching us how to create are so fun, and it makes dressing up even more fun, when you can change your makeup to fit your fashion. I was beginning to get really bored with my face. Hahah! I'm sure many readers can relate to this. The only thing that bothers me though is, I wish I had the time to practice all these looks! Thank you for taking the time and being so committed. . Also one more thing. My sister threw a Santa candle really hard at my nose once in a fit of rage, and made it swell and bleed, and I swear its the reason its bigger now. Its one of those things that I've never been able to laugh about, even now. I've always hated my nose too. I plan on changing it someday when I can afford it. However, though, you've made it a little more bearable for the time being, by showing me ways to reduce it. Thank you for that!

Thank you for this post Kandee! I have a scar on my lip also from a tooth going through it and I have a scar on my left cheek from a dog bite! I can't seem to hide the scar on my cheek and surgery would have just been replacing one scar with another, so I'm really excited to try these tricks!

Hi Kandee :)
I understand where your coming from with having flaws on your face. Like you, I too had my teeth go through my lip. It was my upper lip and I have a scar. It is becoming more prominent as I get older. I love the tricks and techniques you show us on your videos to help us achieve the best look. You're amazing!
Enjoy your day!

What's the name of the blue cream stick that was used? You said you got it from the Elle goodie bag you won. I can't hear what the name is and I've listened to that portion of the video hundreds of times!
