GUCCI eyes

one of my favorite colors in all the world is turquoise....it reminds me of swimming pools and the color of the sky in cowboy paintings....

and as i was flipping throught the July ELLE....that has my favorite Gwennie Stefani on the cover.....I came across this gorgeous look from the GUCCI show...it is not your everyday look but I love it....

I used the YABY palette for all the colors...
you can also use MAC colors...TILT, ELECTRIC EEL and MELODY...any turquoise, sea foam green, and royal blues....

my hair actually turned out this color by accident, on a 4th of July many years ago....ha ha ha ha...on my way to the Warped Tour concert...I tried to bleach my hair and then tone it, and the toner turned my hair green and blue....

but here's some color for your eyes....and not your hair..ha ha ha ha

have the sparkliest 4th of JULY!!!!

ps, I got the new line of MAC make-up launching sunday....i'm gonna show your early yay!!!!

very nice! I noticed this pic too while I was flippin thru the magazine and it caught my eye so I'm glad you did a tut on it.

your hair story made me giggle and I had to scroll up again to see the colour of the model's eyes and imagine it on your head (o_O)

I ♥ the color turquoise. Soo many different hues of blue. I've never used it colors on my face through make up. You however i'm sure would look gorgeous no matter what color! I found your blog through Kelly Ann Studios. It's sooo nice to meet you :)

this is beautiful on you! thanks for the tut- I have 2 palettes, one from coastal scents, and one from manly cosmetics, and they both have great colors for this. Think I'll give it a try- Hope you had a great 4th of July <3 Laurie

This is really cool! Also, i know you're supposed to use bronzer, but i am really really pale and i was wondering if there's something better to use cos it kinda freaks me out... and would you be able to put up some tuts for pale skin especially, that would be so awesome! You're so great!! =]

hey kandee! i really love your vids and i like to read this blog too but one thing that annoys me so much is that you put always this .... after every sentence. i cant read your posts because of that. this ... has really a meaning but im sure you dont always mean to continue your phrases so only one dot is enough :)

im sorry if i sound weird and i know it`s such a small ting but it annoys me so much!

and keep making those awesome videos on youtube!

What brand of brushes are those orange/coral handled ones you use?

Kandee, I'm with you; turquoise is my favourite colour also. I believe it is so under-used in eye makeup! Turquoise is such a powerful but not overbearing shade. It is so versatile because it looks great whether worn softly or brightly, in shimmer or matte.
