4 Cute Christmas Nail Polish Designs

get ready to get festive for the holidays with these cute holiday nail art designs...
a little something different than doing a candy cane nail...
and these EASY factor on these is GREAT....I even do one with my left hand and I'm right handed, in the video!

#1. White Christmas Snow Glitter- a chic and modern holiday look, with crisp, snowy, white nails and white gold glitter falling like snow, down the nail.

Here's what I used...
White Nail Polish:
Zoya - Purity  (you can click the link, or I got mine at Whole Foods, they have like 2 billion amazing colors there)

RED NAIL POLISH:
OPI Big Apple Red (but the cap wouldn't come off- but I have learned after many helpful comments that you just run it under hot water for 5-10 minutes- I'm gonna try!

Essie - Little Brown Dress (dark brown)(Get this at Target or Walmart)

Dreams by Neihule - Walk By Faith (lighter brown)

Do you want Magnetic Nails?

Ever wanted a super power, like becoming invisible or being able to fly?
Ok so those may be a little unreal, but having MAGNETIC NAILS is not!

so what's a magnetic polish do, we are both wondering?

After you've applied your polish, the cap has a special part with a magnet that you put on top of the polish when it's dry and  it creates these cool 3D, textured designs!

There are two magnetic polishes named after iconic London attractions: Trafalgar Square (chrome-above) and Houses of Parliament (purple).

You can order this or just go in and buy it at Sephora: CLICK HERE for the LINK.

And maybe if you are looking for change, you can just stick your hands in your purse and you'll come out with coins stuck to your fingernails! Hey, this polish is going to be more than a hit...it's going to help you find spare change! ha ha ha
Just kidding...but I really want to see what this looks like or feels like in person!

now magnetic lipstick...that would really be something!

New Hair Trend: Balloons & My Fashion Week Video

Balloon hair...
the world's oldest (and pointiest hair-ed) punk - I love this guy!

If both of these things don't make you think Fashion Week- I don't know what will...ok
ok, how about seeing what make-up artist really use backstage...

who I saw backstage, but I've never done a make-up look for...
(Yes, it's Nicki Minaj, looking like a little candy doll- not as in Kandee, but as in candy)
how about the goods on what was going on for runway nail art...
(these were the nails backstage at Betsey Johnson  before they got pierced..watch the video you'll see more!)
and I was kind of drawn to these mirrored-lighting bolt earrings at the Betsey Johnson show like a my sweet tooth is to a good cheesecake...
and this is how I look weird in a screen grab from my interview with Nigel Barker

I'm not really gonna type any more...because this video is way more fun to see...
(PS it took me over 5 days to edit this video with all the computer problems I had...I hope you enjoy my blood, sweat, tears and all the ice cream I had to eat out of frustration to make this video)

OH!!!
Going to Fashion Weel was a dream come true - watch the video and you'll see why....
BUT....Mirabella Beauty is going to make someone's dream come true too!
Look at this!!!!
They are going to give an entire Make-Up Artist Case and Kit- the same kit that the Mirabella team of make-up artists used backstage at Fashion Week!
(FYI: just the case alone is worth $100!)
Please know that the entire staff of people that work at Mirabella- and all their make-up artists, are the nicest, kindest, most thoughtful and caring people. I am so excited they are giving this away-
(it's not my contest, so go to their page to sign up!)

I made this video because you guys are all my "beautiful butterflies" on my shoulder....(like how people say, "I wish I could be a FLY ON THE WALL)...you're butterflies on my shoulder...
I filmed this and took pictures for you all to feel like you went with me- hope I captured it that way for you!
ENOUGH OF ALL THIS READING!
just sit back, relax, and get ready to go on an adventure:
v
What the YAY!!!!!
Like I said at the end of this video...
from at one point thinking all my dreams were over...and not even having a cupcake to eat,
I thank God for knowing he had good things in store for my future even when I thought I didn't...
I hope my story encourages you...that all your dreams can come through no matter how your life may seem...I love you and I BELIEVE in all your dreams (even if you me and you are the only ones!)....

The next wave in nails: 3D nail decals!

"what's on your nails?!?"....I got asked that all day! hee hee
It is the Sephora Nail Bling - in the white basket weave, which name doesn't match...
they look like little diamonds on your fingers and sparkle like liquid silver on your nails.

These don't even compare to the Sally Hansen Nail Stickers...these are wayyyy better. These babies are great. They went on super easy, no drying time, because they are just nail decal-sticker polish. Even the sales girl at Sephora, where I bought mine said these were amazing and wayyy better than Minx!
They kinda remind me of diamond plate, you know that stuff that tools boxes are made of:
Pictures don't do these babies justice.
They feel like they are are as strong as this tool box too. And when I took them off, my nails felt stronger and sturdier too! They lasted for days, and would've lasted longer but I took them off. I've heard when applied to the toes they've lasted for up to 3 weeks!

I got tons of compliments on them....everyone stopped and asked, "what is on your nails?", "where'd you  get those?", "how'd you do that"...because they are like having 3-D nails...they feel so cool and textured- so not like, flat ol' polish!

If you wanna give them a try my other favorite was the gold bubbles...
bling-it-on...nails...bling it on....
these nails are so fun!!!

Hot Summer Nails: hot pink, leopard & nail stickers!

Forget showing off your legs for summer!
Put your hands in the air and wave em' like you just don't care...or like you're drying your nail polish!
Here's my new fav for summer nails:
neon hot pink
some leopard print nail decal sticker polish
I just did applied the nail polish stickers to my ring fingers and did a little diagonal strip on the tip of my pinky fingers with the excess polish strip from my ring finger.

what I used:
My Kandee: Sweet or Sour beauty review:
I'd never tried Urban Decay nail polish before...and it's so different than other nail polish. One coat looks amazing. It has so much pigment the color looks like nothing I've ever used before. And I've never had a nail polish last this long. Normally other nail polishes start chipping the next day...this one lasted a whole week! Unheard of of my little natural nails!
I give the urban decay polish: A SWEET!

 for the Leopard print:

I used the Sephora by OPI Chic Prints for Nails (brewed by: Minx) in their limited edition leopard nail decal stickers!
SWEET OR SOUR?:
these babies stayed on way better than the Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish strips (that I used for my HOUNDSTOOTH NAIL video, cool looking but the OPI "Minx" ones put Sally Hansen ones to shame!). The OPI (Minx) strips went on easier and have lasted so much longer! They are worth the few extra dollars.

Cute Hello Kitty Nails

I love Hello Kitty!
Was it my first Hello Kitty Folder in Kindergarden or how I fell in love with the smell of all the Hello Kitty erasers, pencil cases, and mini drawing sets at the Sanrio display? I don't know...I do know I can't even switch out my, beloved Hello Kitty purse!
May I present to you..Hello Kitty Nails!
what you need & what I used:
paint brush- any cheap paint brush from the art or craft store will work, you could even try using a toothpick if you don't have a paintbrush
white nail polish- I used Wet N' Wild polish in 449B - it' a great bargain polish, but you'll need at least 3 coats to get nails really white
yellow polish or yellow polish pen - any yellow polish will work, but I used a Migi Nail Art pen (you can get them at www.miginailart.com)

black nail polish-  any brand will work, but I used "I Believe" from Dreams by Neihule polish
red nail polish or nail art pen- and red polish is fine, but I used the Migi Nail Art pen again, it's fun!
top coat- it also will help if you use a basecoat before you begin with the white polish! I used Seche Vite Top Coat
Here's a Hello Kitty image to help you when painting her on your nails!
(personally, my fav is the face with the nose with the black outline for the nails, but you decide!)
Here's the Hello Kitty items you'll see in the video:
#1. My Hello Kitty Purse- I got mine at www.baghaus.com (they always seem to be sold out though!)
You can also try Loungefly.com, but they are always sold out too!
I even saw them at the Macy's in San Francisco!
#2. Hello Kitty Ring- I got it at Hot Topic, it is really cute, adjustable, but mine had a sharp plastic piece that scratched my finger, I'm going to try to file it down!

Now see how to get some cute Hello Kitty nails on your cute lil' hands:

Acid washed nails!!!

I even did my nails to look like jeans today! They are even textured like denim!
I used a dark blue polish and a silvery glitter one for texture.

1. first paint the glitter polish on to get texture
2. then go over it with the blue polish
I did an "acid washed" look on my thumb!
Just reverse the order

1. first paint on you blue polish
2. then go over with the silvery glitter to look like the acid-vintage wash jeans!
SOOOO fun...and you nails feel so cool!

You can do this with any polishes...but in case you want to know what I used...
Societal TRansformation and Just a Bit of Bling by Dreams by Neihule polish!

Now I'm off to go to the Levi's event with my denim nails!
Yay...I'll tell you all about it later!

Flat, Matte, and Kandee Approved!!!

TOMBOYS AHOY!!!!yes...I have a tomboy side:
I have always loved old vintage cars....
my dad always had some old car he was working on...

and I love their shape, the lines, the design and style
that they had...fins, white wall tires, curved glass windows, suicide doors, oh my!!...I love them and want to cruise around town in my own big piece of steel someday...
And the Rat Rod...the flat black (no shine)...car with white wall tires...has always caught Kandee's eye....
and LOOK what I've found....MATTE BLACK NAIL POLISH!!!
I CAN HAVE RAT ROD NAILS!!!! I love this stuff!

KO or KNOCK OUT Cosmetics makes some killer "FLATTE" colors in uber cool bottles...think Art Deco meets Punk + Rock-a-billy + vintage
= I love them!!!!
No shine...super matte, be a trendsetter and rock this polish!
(cruelty free too!)
So let's go rat rod out our nails out!
