I'm getting married....

(this is me with the "bridal" look)(and this is much blonder, and fair-er friend, on her wedding day, with the same make-up I did for her)

just kidding....
but if you are.....here is a super-asked-for look....wedding-bridal make-up...this is the day that most every girl has dreamed about her whole life. Even if you're not getting married, this is a great, beautiful look...and I show you tricks and tips to make your make-up last all day and possibly all night too!
On this day you will be like a celebrity...probably the most photographed day of your entire life...so you should look like a star too!

This is the most, most, most requested look I get when brides ask for make-up (and I've done countless bride's make-up)
this is how it usually goes:
kandee: so what look do you want?
bride: a clean, fresh, dewy, smokey eye!

All those sound like they'd be hard to put together...but I'll show you how to do it...and everyone looks stunning with this look. Also, how I show you to apply it, brides have told me that they have woken up the next day and still looked just as good as when I put it on them.

I hope this helps make you feel extra glamorous and will make your groom's jaw drop when you walk down the aisle!

Remember:
*make sure not to get any facial treatments 2 weeks prior to your big day (facials bring all the dirt down in the pores to the surface and cause "breakouts")
*make sure you get all your facial waxing done at least a week prior to wedding day
*make sure you don't drink any alcohol the morning of the wedding (it will cause redness in the face which no concealer will hide)
*up your water intake to half your weight in ounces, every day, for clearer, non-puffy face
*make sure you relax and enjoy every moment...it will be over sooner than you think....and remember, things will go wrong...so just expect something to go wrong...and you won't get too upset. (every wedding I have done make-up for, something has gone wrong...and not one of them has ever started on time! ha ha ha)

I hope this helps you look and feel absolutely gorgeous, and I am honored to get to share this with you to be a part of such a special day for you!!!
huge love, kandee

You're so right Kandee! I'm also a MUA, and let me tell you, all of the weddings I've done have never started on time and something always went wrong! It's a stressful process at times, but in the end, it's SO worth it!

Kandee -- I just love all your videos. You're such a patient, helpful teacher. You break it all down just right.

I wonder if I could request a brush video...listing must have brushes (brand doesn't matter) and their dominate uses. That would be great!

Thanks for being YOU!!!

Hugs,
Tracy

The look is so beautiful Kandee, I love it.

Is there anyway you can put down your must have make up brushes? I want to get a few but I'm not sure which ones I should purchase first or what brand either.

Thank you Kandee and much love.

Kandee,
Love all your video's. They are all so helpful. The thick brown pencil you used to contour your face, cheeks, forehead, ect. Is that MAC??? I looked on their website and it's not on there so I wanted to know what that was. I saw that technique done by Kevin Aucoin in his book and always loved it but didn't think i could do it and now i see it's really not that hard and i like how it blends so well. Thanks so much if you can get back to me i really appreciate it.>>>I'm buying the Dinair foundation too :))

Kandee. I think if I don't find out I'm going to have to be admitted for psychotic behaviour or something... please, just tell me, are you a virgo? I am sooooo sooooo soooooooooo sure that you are, I just need to hear the words from you.

I honestly think your amazing, I panic at what to say because my head goes all crazy and starts thinking, "oh well I can say that, or no! Wait, say this" and if I did then you'd probably get a comment somewhere worthy of a front and back cover and blurb, or a video which would be nearing the length of the video. I'm just absolutely fjfkrtjr389hjgkfdkldk. LOL. So please, before I just rabbit on about how actually amazing you are, please tell me, are you or not? I have to have the confirmation and then I promise there will be no need for a court order against me saying I can't approach within 10 miles of you. Because honestly, when I watch you, I feel like I'm shining so brightly that I'm a danger to anyone within a 10m radius. Total cheesey but I love it, you love it, everybody should love it.

Please, please, please, and another please let me know. On facebook.com/matthewjamesheartsurgery or in you're next video because I don't think I will rest properly (I never do anyway) until I know. Oh god, I hope this got your attention. Much loveliness and I hope whatever day your on in USA is as beautiful as beautiful. Xxxxxx

HI! Ok so I've been doing make up for a while now, and by the way your bridal look was flawless, much like EVERYTHING you do, YOU'RE THE BEST, and you're right when you said that soooo much money is in bridal because it is consistant people are always getting married, and it is a total luxury and requirement to have someone professionally make you look amazing for such a special day, and as much as I have loved the bazillion weddings I've done, its so special I love the conversations and its great, but I feel sooooo bored with it, same old thing kinda, I love the recreating of art or creating of your own art with make up and hair, I do weddings because I have a little mouth to feed, and because no matter what make up I'm doing god I feel amazing when I make some so happy, but do you have any suggestions to find a way to keep it exciting and fresh or something... ok ok ok longggg paragraph eh? lol xoxo

I love the wedding look. My sister is getting married in March, and I really want to try that dinair foundation, but not sure what shade to get. In Mary Kay foundation I use beige 400. I thought you would be the best person in the world to answer this question in what color to get. Your the best, and I love the videos. Thanks much Kandee :)

You are an amazing person, I'm so sad you're going through all of this terrible stuff. If anyone can make it.. you can! You're such an inspiration to all of us. You deserve only happiness for the rest of your life. It's so unfair the best people go through the worst things. I was wondering if you could add a list to this post of all the products you ended up using. Thanks for all of your Kandee-goodness!

I was just wondering if you know if the foundation you used will work on my skin because my skin is extremely dry as well as being super sensitive. I don't normally wear make-up... ok, I never wear make-up. But watching your videos makes me want to. LoL
Keep up the awesome work and thanks for being you! <3

Love all your videos! You are too cute! I am going to be getting married in Sept. and I will be practicing this look up until that date! I was wondering if you could let me know what things I should have in my makeup bag/ purse for touch ups. I figure everything for lips... but what about powder? blush? Thank you so much! Keep up what you are doing and forget about the haters.. they are just horrible people and the world does not need them to make people like you down! You have so many fans who love you anyway!! Hi Kandee,

I've spent the morning watching your videos - and want to thank you!! I am a bit of a 'type A' and the thought of letting someone else do my wedding day makeup is a little scary - your how-to video gives me the confidence to do it myself! (Mind you, I have to bookmark the video as there is a lot to remember!!

If I can be so bold as to make a request - I really like smoky eyes with warm browns, and I would love to recreate the look of the model at this link: http://photos.bellissimabride.com/Fashion/Pronovias-200910/8685529_B8oCG/3/590262103_tsHcC#590262710_tMqNN (click through some of the other images on this page to get a better view of the look) - would you be able to give me some tips on how to create this? Or, say... would you be able to create a video on this look? :)

I also wanted to mention that your videos have touched more people out there than you can imagine - girls and women alike looking for quality how-to-makeup tips - and to finally find a pro willing to share them!! Just remember that with great success will always come the biggest critics - these are people that can't stand to see others succeed. You are beautiful, you are talented and you are a gem for sharing your talent with those who seek it out.

Thanks!
Ana
