That's me on the left, and my beautiful sister on the right, Tiffany. If you know my sister, you know she also has a blog, Huge Love and a youtube channel, and she has the most fun and funny Instagram I've ever seen!
You might have noticed that she hasn't been making videos or writing blogs, or tweeting, or facebooking or pretty much anything. And you might notice I didn't even have a blog post to write yesterday....
My precious sister has not been feeling well for a while, and the last 6 months or so it's gotten really bad. She's been having pain in her heart and a huge list of other scary symptoms, that have been aggressively getting worse the last few months. We just got news a few days ago that she has advanced Lyme disease and 3 other infections that are caused by the Lyme, one is a lung infection which is making it hard for her to breathe.
I'm sure some of you saw the news story that's been all over the news about how much, more serious Lyme disease is than most people know. I did not want to talk about it before, because I wanted to keep it private for my sister, until she felt ready to talk about it.
But yesterday, as I talked with my sister, fighting back tears, hearing my sisters voice and frustration for many doctor's saying their is no cure, or not even knowing about Lyme disease's awful problems it causes....I said do you want me to ask on facebook or twitter if anyone knows any specialists or doctors or treatments...and she said YES.
Me and my sister, looking like twins in our dark hair! hee hee She is my best friend. She makes me laugh more than any human being ever has. She is way funnier than me and she reminds me of my dad so much. She is a mom to 2 little girls, Sydney 4 and Audrey, 18 months, it's been hard because she barely has any energy and her chest pains and other symptoms with her heart, which have pretty much turned her into a prisoner of her house.
I love my sister beyond words. If anyone knows of any Lyme Disease Specialists, or any treatments that have cured Lyme, please post, comment, link them below. Her doctor's aren't telling her anything that helpful and she is seeing several specialists, but none of them are offering anything comforting!
Please if you have anything that has cured or helped, please post below. And please pray for my sister and her precious little family, and for everyone battling this little known disease. I don't want to scare anyone, but her heart issues are very serious and I really want to help her as soon as possible!
I got a spider bite, early this year, that they offered me to get tested for Lyme, which I didn't do (spiders also carry Lyme disease, not just ticks) but I will be going in to get my lab work done too.
Huge hugs and I thank you so much for every prayer, loving thought and any advice anyone has or knows of any specialist in the Southern California area, as she can barely go in the car for a couple minutes.
