I'm hot alright....

my skin is so hot it feels like it's a lil' toasty...

After I put sunscreen on everyone else yesterday...
I failed, forgot, and didn't put it on myself.
Resulting in the red-ness you see above.
I also might add, that in this photo you do not really see just how red I am in real life- this photo doesn't do my sunburn justice. ha ha ha

And yes, that is my hair in a braid- I slept with it in a braid to help protect my hair from turning into dreadlocks, which my hair likes to do at night! How nice of you hair, to dreadlock my hair for me while I sleep! ha ha ha I'd look like a pale, yet, sunburned, Bob Marley (with my morning-dreads)

Happy-short-Sunday post...from an Aloe covered kandee...

just call me

Put mustard on it! Sounds weird and you will smell like a hot dog, but it will give you cooling relief!! I swear by it - I got a bad sunburn in Miami one year.

Ther is an after sun lotion by Hawaiian tropics that is in a clear bottle with light blue see threw lotion in it. It has an orange lid. It has lidocaine in it. It will definatly take the sting and heat out. And if you chill it prior to putting it on, it sooths even more.

Vinegar and water will take the sting and pain right out. You can bath in it or use a wash cloth.

Aloha Kandee! Regular old white vinegar dabbed on with cotton ball or a washcloth takes the sting out immediately :)

When I get a sunburn I rub teabags on it, then let it dry on my skin. When I wake up the next day it feels so much better, and you don't peel either!

I read some where if u put potato slices on ir skin it takes the heat out.

Get cool blue from a drug store or walmart it has aloe and lidocaine in it and it helps tons!! All I do is burn. Sun block or not. That's the only stuff that's ever helped. Feel better soon! <3
