Once upon a blonde...

I found this "blonde picture"...as me and my mom were going through pictures last week...
This was many years ago.
This was in my fashion era, where I wore pretty much everything from thrift and vintage stores..and yes this was a shirt from my "Boy Scout Shirt" treasures I found at thrift stores.
I would cut the back of the shirt so it was more flattering to a girls figure- sorry I don't have a picture of that...ha ha ha
One of my favorite outfits was this boyscout shirt and a pair of really beat up jeans with lots of holes in them.

I really loved having fun blonde hair, but since the texture was the increasingly becoming more like that of the hay you might sit on at a county fair or dry brush that might be considered flammable... my "blonde ambition" had to turn back to it's natural shade of "pretty dark alright"...

What was one of your "old fashion outfits" you loved?!?

this post is short thanks to the internet going out in my neck of the woods all morning...so this is all my little frazzled brain has to share, before it is night time...ha ha ha ha

After a "wrong ash color messed up straW like hair couldn't even run a brush through it wet without it snapping" moment Sunday night I went and got 4 inches (most of the snapping damage) lopped off and dyed it bright bright Ariel the mermaid red haha I'm not quite ready to go back to brown yet sad to say though my poor porous hair ain't holdin the red too well it wouldn't even rinse clean the night I dyed It red it kept bleeding pink :(

I am naturally jet-black haired... last summer I wanted to change it up and went medium blonde! I really loved the color and it looked nice but my hair was sad looking after going through bleaching twice. I don't regret how it looked but I wish there was another way to go blonde without totally frying your hair :) hope you are well Kandee! Love your posts :)

after hair has been stripped to blond the cuticle doesnt close all the way. reds are hard to keep as it is due to the color molecule being bigger than any other color so it comes out faster. but the best way to help the color stay when going darker after being stripped is to repigmentize or "fill" the hair first with the missing pigment which is usually a dark goldem blonde.....then pick ur target shade and layer over

My favorite outfit in high school was anything I could pair with my knee high lace up combat boots. I LOVED those things. And since it took a good 15 minutes to take them off I would even wear them during gym. Lol! best shoes ive ever ran in however!
